Recently there was a Lancome Marie Claire Event at David Jones on Elizabeth Street.
These was a similar event held in Myer, with Instyle magazine.

It was a fun night. The Lancome National Make up artist was there demonstrating all the new techniques of this season. Each table was set up with 5 chairs and 2 sets containing a Lancome Nu lipstick, Teint Idole foundation, Genifique, Hypnose mascara and a set of make up brushes, cotton pads, make up remover and such.
When you first walk in, you're handed a glass of Rosemount O, and set loose to socialise with the magazine reps, make up artists and fellow attendees. The catering was nice, nothing magical, but not too disappointing.
You're given a lancome gift pack with your purchase and a Marie Claire gift pack upon arrival.
Here are the things I bought, and a summary of the make up in the gift packs:
- Hypnose mascara pack, containing full size mascara (6.5mL), Bi-facil (30mL) and a concealer effacernes (5mL). This was worth a total of $45 if converted to full size value prices from Strawberrynet. I bought it for $57.
